Bludenz is a town in the state of Vorarlberg in Austria. The town, surrounded by mountains, lies at the meeting point of five different valleys: The Klostertal, The Montafon, The Walgau, The Brandnertal, The Groß Walsertal.
The Bludenz district headquarters are situated in the Castle of Gayenhofen, built in the 18th century.Major companies are Suchard (chocolate) and Fohrenburger (beer, 5,2% alcohol). Bludenz is the capital city of the district of Bludenz which is the largest district in Vorarlberg.
