Blaine might be a city in Lawrence County, Kentucky, u. S.. The population was 245 at the 2000 census. Blaine was originally settled circa 1800 and was established as a section trade center circa 1882. The post geographic point has been operative since a minimum of may 10, 1828, with the first master being Neri Swetnam. although city was incorporated as Blaine on March 10, 1886, it completely was as an alternative referred to as Blainetown or the Mouth of Hood for the remainder of the nineteenth century.
