Biombo is a region in western Guinea-Bissau, with an area of 840 km2. Its capital is Quinhámel. The region is Governed by Mr. João Gomes Lima Wahnon, the former mayor of the regional capital Quinhámel, a cousin of Carlos Veiga, former Prime Minister of Cape Verde.
