Big Hole National Battlefield may be a memorial located in Montana, us.The Nez Percé, underneath Chief Joseph fought a delaying action against the seventh army unit Regiment (United States) here on August nine and ten, 1877, throughout their failing decide to escape to North American country. This action, the Battle of the large Hole, was the largest battle fought between the Nez Percé and U.S. Government forces in the 5 month conflict acknowledged as the Nez Perce War. The park was created a region of Nez Perce National Historical Park in 1992 that consists of thirty eight separate locations in 5 completely different states, following the flight of the Nez Percé tribe from the U.S. Cavalry.Big Hole National piece of land is found on 655 acres (265 ha), 10 miles (16 km) west of Wisdom, American state on American state thruway forty three. A year spherical visitant center is found within the park.
