The district create to little mining cities like canon town, Montrose, Mineral town, Watertown, and Lander town. These cities were short lived as accessible ore dwindled and capital of Texas prospered. The cities of massive Creek were waning quick by 1866. Huge Creek period, in 1864, was host to Browne, the celebrated lecturer entertainer, at the Young America saloon. Or so one hundred fifty miners paid $2.00 every to concentrate to Ward whereas he was on his yankee tour.
