Bhimkund-Kichakdara holds a religious and mythological significance, especially for the Hindu pilgrims. This is considered to be the place where Lord Bhima killed Kichaka the demon, and threw him into the open valley below. Named Kichakdara after him, this valley is 3,500 feet deep and is well-known and popular with the visitors for the waterfalls and cascades it features. Bhimkund is the place where Lord Bhima eventually took a bath after slaying the demon.

It is mythological important place for pilgrims. Bhima killed Kichaka and throw his body in the valley called ‘Kichakdara’ and he bath in the nearby lake, which is then reknowned as Bhim-Kund.This place is situated in south near Alladhoh village on the way from pratwada to chikhaldara via motha.Bhim-Kund is nearly 3500 ft. deep. It offers facinating view of the waterfall and cascades during rainy season. It is recognizing on the bir point.

Taxi : Amravati is on the Dule – Kolkatta National highway 6 which is well connected by road to other important towns and cities within the state. Regular taxis are available to reach the city.
Bus : The Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary is very well linked by road. Many towns and cities in Maharashtra are connected to the Sanctuary by means of daily, regular buses of state transport and private tour operators.
Train : The nearest railway station is located at Badnera, which is on the Central Railway Line. Many trains pass through this place and some of them are Nvajivan Express, Maharashtra Express, Chennai-Jodhpur Express and a few others. Badnera is located around 110 km from the Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary and one can reach the place by hiring taxis from the station. They cost around Rs 7 per km for a sedan.
