Bentleyville may be a borough in Washington County, Pennsylvania, u. s. and a part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan space since 1950. The population was a pair of,502 at the 2000 census. in line with the u. s. government agency, the borough features a total space of three.7 sq. miles (9.6 km2), all land; except columbiform bird Creek passes through the borough. The borough features a “mayor-council” variety of government. Most power is unconditional within the popularly elective council that chooses its president. The civil authority has veto power over legislation and oversaw the borough’s currently defunct police. Thomas Brown is presently the civil authority of Bentleyville.
