The Bentley Historical Library may be a historical library placed on the University of Michigan’s North field in Ann Arbor. It had been established in 1935 by the regents of the University Of Michigan. Its mission is to function the official archives of the university and to document the history of the state of Michigan, likewise because the activities of its folks, organizations and voluntary associations. The library is called when Alvin M. Bentley, a former regent and U.S. Congresswoman, whose widow, Arvella D. Bentley, blessed the library.
