Begelly is a village and parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is situated in the south of the county, 7 km north of Tenby. The parish, together with the parish of Reynalton and part of St. Issells, constitutes the community and ward of Kilgetty-Begelly, which had a population of 2011 in 2001, with 11% Welsh speakers. The placename appears to be Welsh, meaning “Bugail’s territory”. Part of Little England beyond Wales, it has been essentially English-speaking for 900 years.
