Beauharnois may be a town set within the Beauharnois-Salaberry Regional County Municipality of southwestern Quebec, Canada and is a component of larger urban center space. The city’s population as of the Canada 2006 Census was eleven,918. It is home to the Beauharnois electricity Power Station, one amongst the most important electricity generating stations within the World, as well as the Beauharnois Lock of the Saint Lawrence lane. In 2002, the neighbor cities of Maple Grove and Melocheville were amalgamated into Beauharnois.
