Bay Shore may be a hamlet and a census-designated place (CDP) settled within the city of Islip, Suffolk County, New York, USA. it’s settled on the south shore of island, adjacent the nice South Bay. Bay Shore celebrated its three hundredth day in 2008. The hamlet’s name has modified many times. Early European settlers remarked the place as Penataquit and, earlier, Awixa; each names were employed by the Native yankee Secatogue tribe.
