Barrack Square is an open public square on the foreshore of Perth Water on the Swan River, located at the southern end of Barrack Street near the central business district of Perth, Western Australia.During the early development of Perth the land north of the location was used as a landing area for goods and people (as the current location lies further south), and a gateway for river transportation.
The Swan Bells are located at Barrack Square, as well as cafés, restaurants and jetties.It has also been known as Union Jack Square Flagstaff Square and Harper Square.
