Baraga may be a village in Baraga County within the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was one,285 at the 2000 census. The village is called once Bishop Frederic Baraga. The village is found in Baraga administrative district on the L’Anse Bay on lake at the junction people forty one and M-38. The Baraga code 49908 additionally serves areas of northern and northwestern Baraga administrative district.
