Avery may be a census-designated place (CDP) in Calaveras County, California, us. The population was 646 at the 2010 census, down from 672 at the 2000 census. Avery is found on State Route four and is home to the oldest frequently in operation edifice within the county, the Avery edifice edifice & Saloon. inbuilt 1853, it absolutely was referred to as the “Half approach House,” being settled between Murphys, Arnold, and Calaveras massive Trees State Park.
