The atmospherical Associate in Nursingd ranging|radiolocation|measuring instrument|measuring system|measuring device} research facility (ARRC) is an knowledge domain research facility of the University of Sooner State (OU) situated at the National Weather Center in Norman, Oklahoma. The ARRC consists of twelve school members from the college of Meteorology (SoM), college of Electrical & laptop Engineering (ECE), and therefore the college of engineering science & biological science (CEES), over thirty graduate students, and a number of other postdocs and employees. The ARRC is run by the University of Sooner State school of atmospherical and Geographic Sciences and therefore the University of Sooner State school of Engineering.
The ARRC is leading many initiatives at OU associated with radiolocation, together with a comprehensive knowledge domain programme, microwave radar hardware development through its microwave radar Innovation Laboratory (RIL), careful studies of the advanced interaction of precipitation particles with microwave radar signals by the initiation of its microwave radar Microphysics Laboratory (RML), and various relationships with non-public business.
