Assembly Hall could be a giant dome-shaped indoor arena, settled in Champaign, Illinois, and is an element of the University Of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
The Hall hosts games for the Fighting Illini toilet facility and women’s basketball groups, and doubles as a performance and event center.
Assembly Hall hosts home games of Illinois Fighting Illini toilet facility basketball and Illinois Fighting Illini women’s basketball and has earned a name in concert of the toughest places to play in school basketball, because of the coed cheering section, the “Orange Krush,” that occupies the ground round the court yet as some seats.
At the annual “Paint the Hall Orange” game, everybody attending would wear Associate in Nursing orange shirt, leading to a powerful and daunting surroundings. In recent years, however, it’s become customary for Illini fans to wear orange in any respect home games and then the official “PTHO” game was interrupted once the 2007-08 season.
