Artemisa could be a municipality and town in Cuba, once a part of La Habana Province. Per a law approved by the Cuban National Assembly in August 2010, Artemisa became the capital town of the recently fashioned Artemisa Province, that contains eight municipalities of the previous La Habana Province and three from Pinar del Río.
In 2004, the municipality of Artemisa had a population of eighty one,209. With a complete space of 690 km2 (270 sq mi), it’s a population density of 117.7 /km2 (305 /sq mi).
