Art Salon in the house of the organist Peteris Sipolnieks. Paintings, pieces of folk applied arts. New arts exposition every month.
The famous Latvian organist and music teacher Peteris Sipolnieks lived in this house in the second part of the 20th century. P. Sipolnieks studied at Jekabpils Gymnasium, and after finishing it for some years stayed in Jekabpils and often played chamber concerts. In 1939 he entered the Organ Class at Latvia Conservatory. After graduation he worked as a director o E. Darzins Music School. Starting from 1962 he devoted himself to playing concerts and became one of the leading organists in Latvia. He has given concerts in many countries all over the World.
