Armsmear (“meadow of arms”), additionally referred to as the prophet Colt Home, could be a historic house placed at state capital, Connecticut. it had been the family home of gun manufacturer prophet Colt and is currently a National Historic Landmark. Armsmear was planned for Colt’s 1856 wedding to Elizabeth Hart Jarvis, Associate in Nursingd created in 1856 to styles by an unknown creator, probably native creator Octavius Jordan or mill engineer H. A. G. Pomery, on grounds dominating the recently completed Colt Armory.
