It’s placed within the hot Tierra Caliente vale, within the western a part of the Mexican state of Michoacán. Town is that the fourth-largest in Michoacán (behind Morelia, Uruapan, and Zamora), with a 2005 census population of ninety three,180 persons. The municipality of Apatzingán has a district of one,656.67 km² (639.64 sq mi) and reported a population of one hundred fifteen,078.
Recently Apatzingán has received media attention thanks to the robust presence of disreputable, powerful and flush traffic cartels. President Felipe Calderón has created this historic city, that is wherever the Mexican leaders came to jot down their initial constitution.
