The Apache purpose Observatory (APO) is AN astronomical observatory set within the Sacramento Mountains in spot, NM (USA) more or less eighteen miles (29 km) south of Cloudcroft. The observatory is operated by NM State University (NMSU) and in hand by the astronomy analysis pool (ARC). Access to the telescopes and buildings is restricted, however the general public is in a position to go to the grounds.
