This museum has played an important role in reviving the local hand block printing industry and the products created by these artisans are sold in the Indian and international retail outlets.

Anokhi Museum of Hand printing Jaipur is located in the antique ‘Chanwar Palkiwalo Ki Haveli’ (Anokhi Haveli) which is painted in pink colour. The trust also arranges the live exhibitions of the hand block printing craft.The convention of hand printed fabrics in Rajasthan has a royal history. Endorsed by kings and other royals, the art form experienced form harsh forgets in the 1970’s once the regulation of Rajas was eliminated.
