The Annunciation Church may be a church settled in Houston, Texas listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Annunciation church was the second church established in Houston associate degreed was an outgrowth of the initial St Vincent’s established in 1839. It had been the work of the terribly Rev. Joseph Querat, a canon of the Cathedral in Lyons, France and a missionary to Texas from 1852 -1878.
In 1866 the Bishop of town, Claude M. Dubuis, purchased from Peter W. Grey the 0.5 block at Texas and Crawford streets for $2,000. Texas designer Nicholas J.
