Detail InformationEdit

Anjarle Beach is an idyllic place for the whole family to enjoy swimming. For the adventurous, water sports like para-sailing, snorkelling and wind surfing are available. You could also hire a boat and surf into the sea to indulge in another prime attraction, dolphin spotting. During low tide Anjarle Beach attracts a lot of birds making this place a bird watchers’ paradise. Visit the beach in the evenings when hundreds of fishing boats come back after their day at sea and gather to auction their catch. Fresh sea food is available at the numerous shacks on the beach. Once you have spent a relaxed day at Anjarle Beach you can also visit the popular Kadyawarcha Ganapati Temple. The Ganesha idol has a right-sided trunk which is very rare. From the top of the temple one can also enjoy the beautiful view of the thick vegetation of coconut and betel nut trees, dashing waves and the surrounding hills. The view of the spectacular sea fort, Suvarnadurg Fort, is amazing. The SH4 connects Anjarle Beach with Ratnagiri and it is easily reachable by road.
