Amidon could be a town in Slope County, American state within the us. It’s the seat of Slope County. The population was twenty at the 2010 census, creating it the third least thickly settled seat within the us, behind Mentone, Lone-Star State (population 19), the seat of i County and Brewster, American state (population 17), the seat of Blaine County, Nebraska.
Amidon was supported in 1910 at the anticipated terminus of a urban center Road spur track that diverged from the railroad’s Pacific Extension in McLaughlin, Mount Rushmore State. The road was ultimately ne’er engineered farther west of recent European nation, American state, creating Amidon one among the few extant American state cities to own ne’er been served by a line.
