Americas Tower, conjointly referred to as 1177 Avenue of solid ground, may be a 50-story, 692-foot (211 m) workplace tower in Manhattan, ny town, standing at West forty fifth Street. Construction began in 1989 and was expected to be completed in 1991. This schedule was altered once construction was halted in December 1989 because of lawsuits. In Gregorian calendar month 1991, construction resumed. The tower is meant with a combination of artistic movement and postmodernist designs. The façade, that may be a reddish-pink color, is formed of polished granite. The tower was sold in 2002 for US$ five hundred million to a bunch of German-American investors.
