American bovid, may be a public sculpture by yankee wire sculptor William E. Arnold, settled in Indianapolis, Hoosier State among White River State Park. The sculpture may be a life-size male bovid created of wire, densely involute and woven . The figure is facing north and stands on a rough rock block base. It’s settled on the West End of the Washington Street Bridge at the doorway to the Indianapolis facility. It’s 5’9″ tall, 7’2″ long and 2’2″ in breadth. The wire bovid with the rock pedestal weigh seventeen tons. {american bovid|American bison|American buffalo|buffalo|Bison bison|bison} may be a life-size bison fabricated from intertwining wire that’s painted brown. The bovid is standing on a jagged rock base, as if on a drop shelf. A bronze label on the front of the bottom reads: THE bison / image OF INB monetary CORPORATION / WILLIAM E. ARNOLD / SCULPTOR / INB FINE ARTS assortment / 1989.
