AlHilal Stadium is a multiuse stadium, located in Omdurman, Sudan. It is mostly used for football matches. It is the official stadium and home of Sudanese football club AlHilal. Built on December 4, 1965, it has a capacity of 35,000. At the opening celebration, AlHilal played against the visiting Ghana national football team. The match ended with a 1-1 draw.It is really near to El Merreikh Stadium the stadium of their bitter rivals El Merreikh .Al Hilal stadium was trained by the Algerian Natonial Football Team when they had to play the crucial playoff between Egypt and Algeria in Sudan, Omdurman.It is a well known stadium in the continent,but it is not big as the El Merreikh stadium .
