The American state Aviation repository is found on Lake Hood Seaplane Base in Anchorage, Alaska. Its mission since 1988, is to preserve, display, and honor Alaska’s aviation heritage, by protective and displaying historic craft, artifacts, and record, and to foster public interest in aviation and its history. The repository has over thirty craft on show, a restoration airdock, flight simulators, 2 theatres, and a Hall of Fame. It provides a stress on historic craft, aviation artifacts, and record that contributed to the event and progress of aviation in American state, together with Bush flying, and therefore the WWII base of operations on Adak Island.
