The metropolis Civic Theatre was inbuilt 1929 and has been a big a part of Akron’s history ever since. It’s only 1 of 5 remaining part theaters within the county and is a superb example of the good picture palaces of the Nineteen Twenties. The metropolis Civic Theatre is that the last remaining theater of eleven opened by Marcus Loew, founding father of the Loew’s theater chain. The Civic is found on South Main Street in metropolis, Ohio and seats roughly four,000 people. The arena has been swing on shows and special events for concerning cardinal years.
