Aitutaki flying field (also referred to as Avarua Airport) is Associate in Nursing flying field on Aitutaki within the Cook Islands (IATA: AIT, ICAO: NCAI). The flying field was originally created by the us and New Zealand militaries throughout war II. The runway recently underwent a $3.8 million upgrade.
The “terminal” building at Aitutaki flying field is essentially a roof with no or few windows. There’s alittle convenience stall wherever you’ll purchase snacks and drinks. Resort meet and greet stalls are within the terminal.
