Ainstable is a small village and civil parish in the English County of Cumbria. The parish stretches from the banks of the River Eden to the summits of the North Pennines where it borders Northumberland and includes the villages of Croglin and Newbiggin as well as the hamlets of Dale, Walmersyke, Ruckcroft and Longdales. Eden Valley Woollen Mill is located in Ainstable itself.
