Detail InformationEdit

The origins of the Aichkirchen Parish Church date back to the second half of the 14th century.
Originally built as a Chapel in honor of the apostles Peter and Paul, the chapel received a nave in 1414. The small church bears late Gothic elements and features a neo-Gothic altar built by the Lambach lay brother Paulus Koller.
The church interior is a fine example of Baroque and neo-Gothic architecture and boasts a few valuable statues. Due to several renovation periods over the past few decades and centuries, the parish church is now one of Aichkirchen´s most treasured gems.
