Agoura Hills could be a town in l. a. County, California, and has the code 91301. The population was twenty,330 at the 2010 census, down from twenty,537 at the 2000 census. it’s situated within the japanese Conejo natural depression between the Simi Hills and also the Santa Monica Mountains. This town on the Ventura state highway (U.S. Route 101) straddles the border between the county of l. a. to the east, west and south and Ventura County to the north. it’s more or less thirty miles (48 km) northwest of Downtown l. a. and fewer than ten miles (16 km) west of the l. a. town limits (Woodland Hills). Agoura Hills and unorganized Agoura are settled next to Calabasas, Malibu, Oak Park, and Westlake Village.
