Agogo is a city in Asante Akim North District of Ashanti Region of Ghana. Agogo is approximately 80 kilometers east of Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital. The 2000 Ghana census recorded a population of 28,271 in Agogo. Computer projections of the population estimate a 2007 population of 32,859.
