The Pochera waterfall, on the other hand, is less frequent by tourists. It is essentially a smaller waterfall, but the scenery around the falls is beautiful and you can experience some picture perfect moments with your family or friends here.

The Adilabad district was earlier known as Edulapuram. It was ruled by some of the famous kings of dynasties such as, Kakatiya Velma, Qutubshahi and Asaf Jah.The major places of tourist’s interest are Adilabad, Bellampalli, Nirmal, Mandamarri Sirpur, Lakshettipeta, and Mancheryal,. The other places of interest are Pochera and Kuntala waterfalls, Basara temple,sathnala,Ruyadi piris, Mathadivagu Dam,and Kadam Dam. It also has certain important pilgrimages such as Utnoor, Basar, and Keshlapur temples.These pilgrimages serve as important tourist attractions.

By Air : There is no airport at Adilabad. The closest airport is at Hyderabad and is about 280 km from the town of Adilabad. A frequent running cab provide services between airport to town. The charges will be between 2000-4000 INR.

By Train : Adilabad has a well-connected railway station and receives trains from the nearby towns of Nanded, Nellore, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Patna, Nagpur and Mumbai. From railway station one can take a bus or an auto for travelling. Most of the trains in these areas serve the needs of travelers. Regular trains from Hyderabad, Mancheral and Kagaz Nagar connect Adilabad with numerous places.

By BUS : Adilabad can be reached by buses are the preferred mode of travelling to Adilabad since they take you right in the heart of the town. Buses from the nearby towns and some out-of-state cities ply regularly to Adilabad. However, deluxe and air-conditioned buses to Adilabad are available only from Hyderabad.

Nagoba Jathara ; Venue:  Nagoba temple ; Period :  N.A. ; Details:  Keslapur Jathra is the major festivals celebrated by the Gonds tribe of India. At Kelaspur Jathra they worship, the snake deity called Nagoba Jathara, whose temple is found in the Keslapur village of Indervelly mandal of Adilabad district in Telanga region. The most famous attraction at the festival is the Gusadi dance performed by wearing head gears decorated with the peacock feathers, along with cotton cloth around their waist.
