Achavath Achim house of God is found in port, Connecticut. The building was inbuilt 1926 and was adscititious to the National Register of Historic Places on could eleven, 1995 as West End Congregation–Achavath Achim house of God. The building may be a rare example in port of a Colonial Revival house of worship containing details like a porch with fluted columns and arch stained-glass windows. Port creator Elmore Leonard Asheim designed several municipal and ecclesiastic buildings from 1910 to 1940. The Orthodox house of God was related to Bridgeport’s sizable Hungarian somebody community whose members settled primarily within the city’s West End. It currently functions as a church, owned and occupied by Iglesia Christiana El Buen Pastor. Congregation Ahavath Achim affected to Fairfield within the Sixties.Congregation Ahavath Achim (in English, fraternal Love) was based in Bridgeport’s West End in 1904, meeting within the homes of members till they were ready to move to a a lot of permanent location.
