Polem Beach, Goa is totally a secluded beach. However, the clean and unspoilt beauty of Polem beach is best for sunbathing and swimming. Travelers can see white bellied fish eagles and dolphins out here. Dolphins love this place. They come here to enjoy the quiet stretch of the coastline. There are shacks found at the beach from where you can enjoy some refreshments.Mornings as well as noons at the Polem beach are completely silent except the noise of the waves that breaks the silence. During the evenings, a good number of visitors and locals can be seen enjoying the wonderful sunset from the beach. There is a crescent shaped bay which is defined by the steep wooded headlands on the both sides.

How to ReachEdit
Taxi : To get to Polem beach, from Palolem beach or Patnem beach, just follow the NH-17 and the signs for Karwar. The road runs through fields, jungle and a few small villages before it climbs up on top of the headland where Goa ends and Karnataka begins, just before you reach the border there is a sign, partly hidden by bushes, for Polem beach. Follow the small road for a few km’s and you will end up on the beach.
Bus : There are a number of buses one can take from Panjim, Margao or Chaudi that go to Karwar to travel to Polem. However from the stop one has to walk for around 15 minutes across paddy fields to reach the place.
Train : Panjim is the nearest railway station
Air : Dabolim airport, the only airport in Goa.
