The Vidyadhar Garden is one of the best gardens in the city. Built in memory of late Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, the designer-architect of Jaipur, this garden is an interesting specimen of Shilpa Shastra. Located 8 km outside the city walls on Jaipur-Agra Highway, Vidyadhar Garden is nestled between two rocky hills, which gives this place its much coveted scenic status. This sprawling garden, with its beautifully laid flowerbeds, chiselled fountains, sylvan lakes, pictorial vineyard, stunning galleries and Mural paintings, is a true feast for the eyes. The best time to visit this garden is during early evening when the garden is illuminated with bright lights.

The Vidyadhar garden is one of the best-preserved gardens in Jaipur and is also the pride of the city. The garden was built in the memory of Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, who was the architect of the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur. As a chief architect to Maharaja Sawai Man Singh, the architect was known for his designs, elaborate architecture and the dexterity with which he could create visual wonders. The garden, built in 1988, was designed according to the ancient texts of the ‘Shilpa Shastra’, the ancient Indian line of architecture which Vidyadhar used while planning the city of Jaipur. The garden was believed to have been a vineyard, situated in the vicinity of the Sisodia gardens.Vidyadhar Gardens are named after the famous architect who designed the pink city of Jaipur, Vidyadhar Bhattacharya.Developed on the decrees of the conventional Shilpa Shastra there is no lack of locations to sightsee in Jaipur. Surrounded in history and customized, the magnum opus of Jaipur locations not only in its awesome properties, properties and conventional common typical monuments but also in its pleasant natural location of locations and sanctuaries.
