The town of Rewa is located in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This town is located in a district of the same name, and it is a famous destination among tourists, mainly because of its historical importance. The district is also famous for its natural surroundings, and the place is very famous for being the haven of the white tiger. The first white tiger in India was caught in Rewa. You can take a trip through the tiger sanctuary located in the nearby region of Bandhavgarh, where you can spot many white tigers. You can also take a hike through the forests in the region, as the forests surrounding this tiger reserve are dense and rich in flora and fauna. There are many interesting places in Rewa that you can visit, and these are Baghael Museum, Rewa Fort, Govindgarh Palace, Royal Museum, Pili Kothi and Venkat Bhavan. Tourists mainly flock to Rewa fort, which is a very important destination in the region. This museum in Rewa fort has many ancient weapons, which can be seen during your trip to the place. You can also visit Keonti Waterfalls, located at a distance of around forty kilometers from Rewa. Chachai Waterfalls is another important tourist destination.

Rewa is a city in the north-eastern part Madhya Pradesh state. Rewa is a city in India where, you can see natural beauty in and around the city. It is mainly famous for waterfalls, the main waterfalls are Quonti, Chachai and Bahuti waterfall. River Bichiya and Beehar confluences in core part of the city and there is also a low height water fall which looks great when you enter the city. Khando is a place, which is mainly famous for its beautiful topography, and a big Tank known as ” Govindgarh Talab”, prepared by Baghela Kings, it is 15 km south from Rewa. Rewa also famous for its historical places, you can see Rewa fort along with its museum of antique items. In the center part of the city you can visit summer palace of Baghela’s, it is having very beutiful architecture. An underground tunnel is also there which was used as a secret path for kings, now it is open for the public.

By Air : Flights can be taken to the nearest airport, which in this case is located in the town of Khajuraho. Buses will regularly be available from Khajuraho to many major locations in India. These will charge fares of around Rs 4000 to 8000, depending on the class of travel availed. This mode of transport is comfortable, although a tad expensive.
By Train : Rewa houses a railway station that has regular trains to all major parts of the state. Trains are cheap and affordable and they charge lesser fares than buses, providing more comfort. Train tickets are hard to come by, though, as they need to be booked well in advance (at least two months). Trains to New Delhi, Bhopal and Jabalpur will be available from Rewa. These will charge fares of around Rs 150 for the basic class of travel.
By Bus : Buses can be taken directly to Rewa and the town is well connected to all other towns in the region through buses. Tickets for buses to Rewa will be easily available, and buses to the town of Khajuraho will cost around Rs 120 to 130. This town lies at a distance of around 159 kilometers from Rewa.
