Anshun is a prefecture-level city in China in the southwestern province of Guizhou where the famous Huangguoshu Waterfall is located. Within the borders of its prefecture one also finds attractions such as Long Gong Dragon Caves and the Getu River. As of 1999, it had a population of 217,215. The city also has industry involving airplanes.
Anshun is located at longitude 105 degrees 13 minutes to 106 degrees 34 minutes north latitude and 25 degrees 21 minutes to 26 degrees 38 minutes, the Wujiang River Basin located in the Yangtze River and Pearl River Watershed Beipanjiang River watershed area, is the World’s typical karst Geomorphic focus areas; the east the capital of Guiyang City and Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, west Liupanshui City, south Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southwest Guizhou.
