Donnelly is a village in northern Alberta, Canada, located approximately 5 km east of Falher, Alberta which is approximately 115 km northeast of Grande Prairie, Alberta near the junction of Highway 2 and 49. The population of the Village of Donnelly according to its 2008 municipal census is 374. École Georges P. Vanier is a junior/senior high school from grades 7 to 12. Approximately 400 students attend this school every year. Students are bussed in from various areas of the Smoky River region.
