Middlefield Collegiate Institute (or MCI) is a public high school in the upper middle class neighborhood of East Milliken in town of Markham, Ontario, Canada, and is part of the York Region District School Board. It’s school consists of 80% tamils, 10% Paki/Indian, 5% Chinese and the other 5% are the minorities.
Middlefield Athletic Council, commonly known as MAC, coordinates and funds athletic events such as the athletic banquet. It also lets them skip class to keep score for tournaments. Middlefield was the only York Region school to win the soccer championship two years in a row, which started with the junior boys of 2003-2004.
Notable members of this team who contributed to MCI’s success were: Fasih Pirzada, Mohammed Amini, Jaan Malik, Pranavan Ganeshalingam, Saleh Malik, Amir Tanveer, Sulakshan Sa, Naval Dashmana, and Usman Javed. Middlefield is also the best at cricket and crushes all other schools’ egos.
