By Air : Goa, which is around 90 km from Karwar has the nearest international airport and is well connected from all the major cities. From here tourists have the options of taking a train, bus or hiring a taxi to reach Karwar.

By Train : Trains are also available to Karwar as it has a well established railway station. Trains are regularly available from the cities of Mumbai (Mumbai Exp), Delhi, Cochin, Ahmedabad and Mangalore. Train fares will range around Rs 300 to 1,000, depending on the class of travel.

By BUS : Buses in Karwar ply to all the nearby locations and cities in the entire region of Uttara Kannada including the cities of Udipi, Mangalore and Pune. There are both deluxe buses and semi deluxe buses to Karwar from the nearby cities and towns, and luxury buses are also available in air conditioned varieties. Buses from the cities of Bangalore, Mysore and Mangalore are regularly available to the town of Karwar and these buses will normally charge around Rs 500 to 600 for the trip
