There is a natural pool near Vairat Village towards the west which is a very beautiful location featuring an ancient Vairat Devi Temple as well. Vairat Village is in the centre with Chikhaldara to the east and the Satpura range on the western side. However, located on a critical route one has to pass the valley with the help of a rope so as to reach the original Vairat Devi Temple site. Nevertheless, if this is difficult and not possible, people have built a new Devi Temple at this end so as to facilitate darshan for the sake of visitors.

Vairat is a small village nearly about 10kms. from Chikhaldara. In between Chikhaldara and Vairat a natural pool is there, it is very beautiful to see. There is a ancient devi-temple. But it is very critical to reach that temple. At the starting of the ancient devi-temple, to our facilitate, people built a new devi-temple.
Ancient Goddess temple is situated in west to Vairat hills. One has to pass the valley with the help of rope to reach the mount of undeerground way after passing 100 to 150 ft. underground one can reach to original temple.

Taxi : Amravati is on the Dule – Kolkatta National highway 6 which is well connected by road to other important towns and cities within the state. Regular taxis are available to reach the city.
Bus : The Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary is very well linked by road. Many towns and cities in Maharashtra are connected to the Sanctuary by means of daily, regular buses of state transport and private tour operators.
Train : The nearest railway station is located at Badnera, which is on the Central Railway Line. Many trains pass through this place and some of them are Nvajivan Express, Maharashtra Express, Chennai-Jodhpur Express and a few others. Badnera is located around 110 km from the Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary and one can reach the place by hiring taxis from the station. They cost around Rs 7 per km for a sedan.
Air : The nearest airport to Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary is located at Akola. This is situated around 150 km from the place. Taxis can be hired from the airport. Another closest airport is at Nagpur, which at a distance of 250 km from Chikhaldara.
