The Chapel´s three lifesize wooden figures were created by the local sculptor Johann Ladner in 1754. The scene shows two soldiers mocking Jesus Christ, who is tied to the flagellation pillar. These two men are popularly called “The Kappler jews”. These famous sculptures are an emblem of Kappl.
