Detail InformationEdit

The original bell-foundry of the family Grassmayr is located in Habichen. The bell-foundry tradition goes back to the year 1599. Already in the 17th century they produced fire hoses there. In the 18th century Jakob Grassmayr moved to Feldkirch and in 1836 the bell-foundry was transfered to Innsbruck where it got a World-wide reputation. Since 1633 the facades show relevant and grotesque paintings. The cross, adorned by beautiful Gothic mullions made of wood, is famous, too.
