This picturesque church dates from 1784 and it was only recently that an altar fresco of Johann Wenzl Bergl was discovered here. You also find the last functioning Reinold-Organ of the Pulkautal Valley in this church.
The Rochus-Column from 1509 and the Column of the Holy Trinity from 1730 are also to be seen in Untermarkersdorf. Worth visiting is the house of the late Franz Daurach, where you can admire a unique sacral ceiling painting.
