Detail InformationEdit

The legendary history of the Chapel, in connection with the Wars of Independence of 1809, is rather fearsome. Three farm boys were said to have beaten to death an enemy occupation soldier and buried him under a nearby hay barn. After a long time, God´s punishment struck them down, upon which their families erected this little chapel…. The actual construction took place in 1896, where after a pilgrimage to the shrine of Lourdes, the pretty little church was built. Presumably, a relic from Lourdes was built into the altar. A short hike takes one right past this chapel, which is now more than 100 years old: the PIRCHMOOS-RUNDGANG (hiking time, about 1 hour).
