Detail InformationEdit

The Church first appeared in historical documents in the year 1376. For centuries, the Church has been visited by gout sufferers who were attracted to it by the fame of its said healing powers. The Church was originally erected in Gothic style – and still possesses an exquisite Gothic Crucifixion Group, dating back to 1490. In the 18th century the steeple that stands 49 meters tall was remodeled in Baroque style. Famous Tirolean cartographer Peter Anich conceived the design for the Baroque Sundial (1759), that was then created by Anton Zoller. The steeple is adorned with mural paintings.
